8/9/2026Virtual Headphones

Virtual Headphones browser and DAW workflows expanded

Virtual Headphones added a dedicated plug-in path and improved browser comparison flow. Favorites, recent models, Quick Compare, notes, and last-used settings make target checks faster.

8/7–8/9/2026Acoustic Planner

Acoustic Planner became stable with deeper room checks

Acoustic Planner moved from public beta to stable. This update period also added reverberation estimates, level and decay result views, furniture-aware first reflections, Virtual Listening refinements, and desktop project-file opening.

8/6/2026Virtual Headphones

Virtual Headphones is now open

Choose the headphones you own, load a familiar audio file, and compare the measured tonal balance of 2,898 headphones and earphones. The audio file stays in your browser.

8/5/2026Acoustic Planner

Acoustic Planner public beta is now open

Build a room or venue in 2D and 3D. Add materials, furniture, acoustic treatment, speakers, and listening positions, then review practical acoustic estimates before changing the real space.

7/27/2026Comments

Public comments and replies are now available

Visitors can now leave a public comment without creating an account. Written comments from tool Feedback can also appear here, and SolAudioLab can reply directly below each comment.

7/20/2026Audio Analyzer

Audio Analyzer file check refined

Audio Analyzer now explains that the score shows the technical condition of the audio file, not the artistic quality of the song. The waveform view also includes a small peak overlay toggle so dense peak markers can be hidden when they cover the waveform.

7/18/2026Feedback Trainer

Feedback Trainer practice flow improved

Feedback Trainer now includes Free Practice, automatic next-round advance, and refined cut judgment. Listen Mode remains available for hearing each frequency band before training.

7/18/2026Audio Analyzer

Audio Analyzer suggestions improved

Audio Analyzer now gives clearer Friendly Suggestions for files that need remastering decisions. It can suggest when to avoid more compression, when to repair peak problems first, and when to check stereo balance before final limiting.

7/17/2026Audio Analyzer

Audio Analyzer loudness and peak analysis improved

Audio Analyzer now separates integrated loudness, sample peak, estimated true peak, and peak-event patterns. It treats isolated lossy-codec peak overs differently from likely hard clipping.

7/17/2026Tone Generator

Tone Generator workflow refined

Tone Generator now keeps precise frequency control close to the main controls. Saved frequencies and an auto stop timer were added below the main panel, while longer usage guidance stays in the lower page section.

7/16/2026SolAudioLab

Home page directory tightened

The main tool area now uses compact list rows. The separate Quick Finder panel was removed. New tool badges now use a warmer orange accent.

7/16/2026Speaker System Check

Speaker System Check released

Speaker System Check is a guided page for checking a speaker setup. It checks stereo channels and the mono center image. It also checks speaker matching, polarity, and low-frequency rattle or buzz with controlled browser-generated test signals.

7/15/2026SolAudioLab

Tool feedback rating added across all tools

Each tool now includes a quick feedback panel. Users can rate the tool, check useful points, choose improvement areas, and leave an optional short comment. This helps collect real issues by tool.

7/15/2026Room Clap Test

Room Clap Test added

Room Clap Test uses two comfortable hand claps to show room decay. It also compares frequency-band decay, checks repeating reflections, and reviews measurement quality without external test speakers.

7/12/2026Tuner

Tuner added with improved pitch tracking

Tuner uses harmonic candidate scoring and temporal tracking. This reduces octave jumps, follows peg movement more smoothly, and rejects irregular background noise.

7/11/2026Reference Tracks

Reference Tracks player workspace improved

The compact player keeps the listening guide, controls, A–B loop, and current list in view. Tracks can be played with one click, and Quick Compare can jump to saved timecodes.

7/11/2026SolAudioLab

Tool selection simplified

Compact tool rows make the full directory easier to scan. The directory covers audio tools, live-sound tools, and practice tools.

7/10/2026Feedback Trainer

More realistic feedback audio and GEQ control

Full-range pink noise now fades in safely before feedback rises. The page also uses hardware-style GEQ faders, a clear 0 dB center position, and realistic black slots.

7/10/2026Metronome

High-visibility beat display improved

The beat display now uses wider fixed spacing. Downbeats and regular beats use paired colors. A 12-beat pattern appears as two rows of six beats, and the BPM display is balanced.

7/9/2026Feedback Trainer

Feedback Trainer added

Practice finding feedback frequencies. Then choose cuts with a GEQ-style trainer and keep a local Last Session reference.

7/7/2026Metronome

Click output and tone choices improved

The metronome click is now louder and clearer. Standard, Cutting, and Soft tone choices help with practice, drum monitoring, and in-ear monitoring.

7/5/2026Tone Generator

Keyboard frequency sweep added

Use the left and right arrow keys to sweep frequencies steadily. Normal and Fast speed options help with speaker and room checks.

7/4/2026Rhythm Creator

Grid-based pattern setup added

Pattern Setup now uses a simple Grid choice instead of manual Steps. Time changes automatically reshape the pattern grid and beat labels.

7/2/2026Drum Machine

Mobile bar controls moved to the main editor

Bar 1-8 navigation and Copy, Paste, Duplicate, and Clear actions now stay on the mobile editor. You no longer need to open the BARS panel to change bars.

7/2/2026Speaker Test

L/R signal visualizer added

A lightweight signal activity display for the left and right channels was added below the main control panel. You can check speaker output visually while testing.

7/2/2026Metronome

Count-in sound improved

Count-in now uses a dedicated short beep. The final count-in adds an octave-up tone, so the start cue is easier to recognize before the real beat begins.

7/2/2026Audio Analyzer

Stereo balance meter corrected

The Stereo Balance meter direction was corrected. Left and Right now match the analysis text and waveform reading.

7/1/2026Rhythm Creator

Master volume control added

A new Master Volume slider was added near Tap Tempo. Rhythm practice volume can now be adjusted without opening advanced mix settings.

6/29/2026Drum Machine

Essential rhythm presets added

Rock 8 Beat, Funk Groove, and Reggae One Drop presets were added. Practice patterns can now start faster.

The mobile page now keeps BPM, Start/Stop, and Tap Tempo easy to reach. A compact mobile control bar makes stopping safer.

6/27/2026Rhythm Creator

Mobile pattern workflow improved

The mobile page now prioritizes Play, BPM, and the pattern grid. Quick presets are placed up front, and advanced settings are in expandable sections.

6/27/2026Tone Generator

Mobile tone controls improved

The mobile page now prioritizes frequency, play/stop, volume, waveform, and quick presets. Harmonic Mix and Sweep are in expandable advanced sections.

6/27/2026Audio Analyzer

Mobile analysis flow improved

The mobile page now prioritizes file selection, analysis status, and Quick Summary results. Graphs and details are in expandable sections.

6/27/2026Speaker Test

Custom Audio File added

Choose your own local audio file and play it directly in the browser. No upload required.

6/26/2026Capo Finder

New tool launched

Enter a song key to find practical capo positions. Then see the chord shapes you can play.

6/22/2026Speaker Test
