SolAudioLab Virtual Headphones - Beta 0.5 Model Reference

Build targets:
- Windows 64-bit VST3
- macOS Universal VST3
- macOS Universal Audio Unit (Logic AU)

Web data baseline: SolAudioLab V288.3
Headphone database: VH-2026.08.06-phase1
AutoEq commit: 7ae0f56d53074872b028649617a22bbb4232feb7

MODEL COUNTS
- MY HEADPHONES: 330
- TARGET: 408
- CONSUMER CHECK targets: 93
- TARGET type breakdown: 338 over-ear, 62 in-ear, 8 earbud

BETA 0.2.3 REGRESSION BASELINE
- Original MY HEADPHONES profiles preserved at the beginning: 100
- Original TARGET profiles preserved at the beginning: 200
- Stable source and target model IDs are stored with project state.
- Legacy Beta 0.2.3 normalized state values are migrated to the preserved original
100 source and 200 target entries.

DSP RULES
- Same-type maximum filter gain: +5 dB / -7 dB
- Cross-type maximum filter gain: +4 dB / -5.5 dB
- Cross-type difference strength: 72 percent before frequency-confidence weighting
- Cross-type targets use LISTENING REFERENCE behavior from the approved SolAudioLab web tool.
- Safety attenuation remains the largest positive filter-band gain plus 1 dB,
with at least 0.5 dB of attenuation.
- Supported regression sample rates: 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz.

CONSUMER CHECK
The CONSUMER CHECK mark identifies selected common consumer listening devices
that are useful for mix-translation checks. In-ear fit, seal, ear tips, ANC,
adaptive processing, and device DSP can change the real result.

BETA 0.5 UI BEHAVIOR
- SolAudioLab site-aligned charcoal UI palette.
- The extra outer rounded frame inside the plug-in window is removed.
- CONSUMER CHECK is displayed as orange text without a box or border.
- Clicking a normal model name selects it immediately without opening the guide.
- Clicking CONSUMER CHECK selects the target first, then opens the guide.
- LISTEN uses one full-width button that toggles TARGET and MY HEADPHONES.
- The model picker stores up to six recent MY HEADPHONES and six recent TARGET
model IDs separately in local settings.

REMOTE NOTICE
- The bottom two-line SolAudioLab notice reads only:
  https://solaudiolab.com/virtual-headphones/plugin-notice.json
- Allowed remote data is limited to enabled state, two text lines, a SolAudioLab
  HTTPS URL, and refresh interval.
- Remote text is not executable code.
- The request runs outside the audio-processing thread.
- Project names, DAW information, selected headphone models, and other user data
are not transmitted to SolAudioLab by this feature.

PLATFORM CONSISTENCY
Beta 0.5 macOS VST3 and Logic AU are built from the same consolidated source and
embedded model data as the verified Windows Beta 0.5 implementation. Platform
build metadata and plug-in format wrappers may differ, but the model data and
DSP calculation rules are not intentionally changed by platform.

This file describes the Beta 0.5 test database and behavior. It is not a claim
that the plug-in exactly reproduces every individual listener or physical unit.
