How do I convert BPM to milliseconds?

A quarter-note delay time is 60,000 divided by the tempo. For example, 120 BPM gives a quarter-note delay of 500 ms. Shorter and dotted note values are calculated from that base timing.

What is a dotted eighth delay?

A dotted eighth delay is three quarters of a beat. It is often used for rhythmic guitar delay, synth delay, and tempo-synced echo patterns.

Can I use tap tempo with a delay pedal?
