Low-frequency room modes
Rectangular rooms use exact three-dimensional rigid-boundary mode frequencies. Other room shapes use the floor-plan grid with coupled height modes. The estimate also compares how the installed low-frequency treatment may reduce each mode. Start with the combined pattern, then select a frequency for diagnosis.
The estimate follows the current floor-plan boundary and retained full-height columns. It combines a two-dimensional grid wave calculation with the room's constant ceiling height.
